Totally Wireless GPS offers a wireless vehicle management solution is designed to enable fleet managers to connect with every aspect of their vehicle operations. The product line provides affordable terrestrial wireless coverage over the AT&T Wireless GPRS Network, transmitting both vehicle location and performance (light duty and heavy duty units) information on a fleet. This unparalleled visibility into fleet assets 24/7 enables fleet managers to easily locate vehicles in real-time — increasing response time and reducing operating costs. The remote diagnostic capabilities all fleet managers to be notified via email when an exception occurs within the fleet, such as when a vehicle has exceeded a speed threshold or the check engine light has illuminated. We offer a universal solution, compatible on all light, medium, and heavy vehicles. It consists of an in-vehicle unit and a web-based software application. There are three types of in-vehicle units, all of which communicate on the AT&T Wireless GPRS wireless data network. The product line integrates a terrestrial wireless communication system, a microprocessor-controlled interface to the vehicle’s diagnostic bus and a GPS receiver into a single, small enclosure the size of a PDA.
